Since ancient times, pillars are symbols forstability
The vertical load-bearing element in our watch stand is styled like a typical pillar as a round column, resting on a separate rectangular plinth
Our luxury watch stand:for the pillars of your collection
The Rod
The only visible metal element holds the Support in place
Several shapes would be possible and convenient
We chose asemi-circle: aesthetically pleasing, geometrically perfect but still practical to avoid contact with the watch
The Support
We took offence at usually massive watch support parts in basic watch stands
Our Support design does not only rest the watch safe and stable, but does also virtuallydisappearwhen viewed from the top
It is inspired by typical watch displays in jeweler windows that guide all the attention to the precious watches
The P
A unique connection betweendesign and brandname
Seen from behind, our WatchPillar®forms the letterP
All the individual element desings are not only functional but carefully harmonised to yield the characteristic letter, wich we proudly integrated in our official logo:
The Dome
A closure and round optical counterbalance against the rectangular Main Plate
We chose a clean dome forunobstructed view
A harmonic, literally 'rounded' overall picture was more important to us than the alleged convenience of any type of handle, grip or strap (we include gloves for handling)
Mounting and lifting the dome can be a pleasant, ceremonial, perhaps even ritual act that should fully reflect the appreciation of the owner for his precious timepiece
The Insert
Its round form is pleasing and we use it to highlight our beloved brand logo (customisation possible)
The high-grade milling is far broader than an engraving and creates theoptical illusionof an imperfect surface
By filling the cut-out with ultra clear resin and subsequent polish, we create a beautifully even surface with seamless wood-resin transition and a marvelous see-through effect
The Insert displays a 3D logo under a smooth 2D surface
Alternating shape
Our WatchPillar® design shows vertically alternatingrectangular and roundshapes from the Main Plate all the way up to the Support ... often even up to the watch.
This alternation in shape is optically enhanced and fortified by the colouring, implementing dark and light wood
Fine wood
Fine and noble wood gives a luxurious but also warm apperance to our WatchPillar®
The impressive wood grain makes every WatchPillar® a naturallyunique piece
We carefully select the individual pieces by hand to maximise the combined pattern beauty
Literally from the stem to the final watch stand, we excecute all wood work by hand as well as our own machines in-house.
Especially, the wood is hand-polished with ultra-fine grain and then treated with a dedicated 2-step system of bio-certified oil and wax made in Germany. The resulting surface is silky smooth and a joy to touch and feel. As a plus, all substances have certified food quality. So youcouldsafely lick on it...just make sure no one is watching :)
